Social Justice Fruit Stickers

Social Justice Fruit Stickers are a sticker series meant to facilitate protest, reimagining it as a more small scale, daily act supplementing larger scale actions like picketing. Users can covertly stick them on fruits and veggies at the grocery store, or anywhere they feel inspired. The material is durable enough to withstand exposure to moisture and the elements.
The project was an exploration in small scale design, copywriting, and researching typefaces used in the 1960s-80s, when many fruit sticker designs still used today were developed.
All proceeds went to the ACLU.
Developed at MICA with guidance from Jason Gottlieb and Ellen Lupton.
