A Scanography Series

“No Depth,” is an ongoing photo series experimenting with scanning as a mode photography.

Unlike cameras, scanners have practically no depth of field, rendering highly detailed and saturated images with unusual shadows and lighting effects. My focus tends to be on organic vs. manmade objects — but sometimes I just scan things because I think they’ll look cool.
